Metavision Player is the legacy viewer/recorder of Metavision SDK. As such, it does not support all the features of our last generation of sensors. We recommend you to use Metavision Studio instead.

Setting Sensor ROI

Metavision Player allows to set the sensor ROI (Region Of Interest) when acquiring data from a live Prophesee’s camera. With the defined sensor ROI, the sensor will acquire data only from the defined region of interest and not outside of it.

To set the sensor ROI on live Prophesee’s camera:

  • plug a Prophesee’s camera to the computer

  • start Metavision Player as usual:

  • events data from the camera will be shown in the viewer window on the screen

  • draw an ROI in the viewer by click and drag: click left mouse button, hold the button, draw a region, and release the button
