Lucid Triton2 EVS

Lucid Vision Labs is proposing the Triton2 EVS, an industrial grade event camera featuring compatibility with Metavision SDK software.

The camera is responsible for data sampling, timestamping and data packing for transmission of the sensor events over M12 Ethernet connection.

Getting Started

• Install Metavision SDK v4.6.2

• Install Arena SDK

• Indicate the path to the LUCID HAL plugin by setting MV_HAL_PLUGIN_PATH environment variable

  • On Windows OS, it should be system environment variable

• Power the camera and plug it to an Ethernet port

  • Note that using an Ethernet-to-USB connector is possible but may limit the output data rate

  • Note that Ethernet on laptops is usually limited to 1 GigE that may limit the output data rate and cause data loss

• Wait until the LED indicator on the camera turns green, and then you are ready to start Metavision applications
